간단한 체험 후기

내가 자주 들여다보는 Lowendtalk 사이트에서는 이 Contabo 에 대한 평이 극과 극으로 나뉘며, 끔찍하다는 후기는 대체로 네트워크가 매우 끊기는게 문제라고 한다. 뭐 괜찮다는 평도있으니.
나는 눈깜짝할새 동안 사용한거라 네트워크 끊김은 체험하지 못 했다.

이 가격에 이 사양을 제공되는거 자체가, 우리 아시아인들은 상상도 못 하겠다. WoW!
6 코어라서 그런지 유닉스벤치상에 CPU 와 관한 점수는 매우 높은데,
디스크가 RAID 1 인지, 혹은 호스트에 VM이 많아선지
분명 SSD 치곤 쓸만한 성능을 보이는데 (4K IOPS측정시 읽기 38000 쓰기 14000 나왔다.)
시퀸셜 I/O가 100MB/s 에 근접하는 수치만을 보여서, 사용자가 SSD맞나?? 의심을 갖게 만든다.
역시 overselling 답다.
그러나 절대적인 사양은 매우 좋은건 뒷전으로, 한국에서 핑이 290ms ~ 350ms 를 보이며… 핑도 못참겠는데
업로드 (KT)3Mbps (SK)15Mbps (CJ)1Mbps 를 보이고,
다운로드 (KT)45Mbps (SK)500Kbps (CJ)20KB/s를 보여서
더 이상은 곤란하다고 판단되어 사용을 그만두기로 하였다.

일단 내가 쓰는데 가장문제가 물리적으로 너무 멀리 떨어진 네트워크가 문제이어서…
쓸수가 없다!!!!ㅋㅋㅋ

유럽서버는 유럽대상으로 하는 서버가 있거나, 다른 목적(!!) 을 둔게 아니라면 피해야하겠다.
