CentOS 7 YUM FastestMirror 비활성화 및 미러서버 설정

  1. yum에는 기본적으로 빠른 미러서버를 찾아주는 플러그인 fastestmirror가 탑재되어있다.
  2. 이게 겁나 느리다. 0.1초면 받아서 설치가 끝날 패키지도 fastestmirror 가 작동하는데 10초이상 걸릴  때가 있다.
  3. fastestmirror는 다운로드가 빠른 서버를 찾아준다고는 안 했다.

그러한 이유로 mirror서버를 수동으로 설정하고 fastestmirror를 비활성화 하는 과정을 밟겠다.

1 Modify Mirror Repo

이 중 또는, CentOS Mirror List 를 참고해 마음에 드는 것으로 수정하면 된다.

2 Disable fastestmirror plugin

vi /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/fastestmirror.conf
[main]
enabled=1

enabled=1 (활성화) 를 enabled=0 으로 변경한다.

3 Check

yum -y update

이게 오류없이 나오면 되는거다.
